Bringing Well-Being to the Workplace
Creating Healthy Workplace Environments for Everyone
Now more than ever, organizations have become acutely aware of the importance of caring for the well-being of employees. However, many organizations need help to define exactly what workplace well-being means. Leaders and teams need more clarity on effective ways to create a healthy workplace environment.
In response to employee well-being concerns, many organizations implement a variety of employee wellness initiatives. While these wellness offerings may provide temporary relief, they tend to miss the mark on addressing the bigger picture.
Throughout our years of helping foster well-being at work, we've learned three key pillars must be addressed to create an environment that allows everyone to thrive. These key pillars are Leader Well-Being, Team Well-Being, and Organizational Well-Being. Together, they make an interconnected system of support for employees.
Description
Improve Leader Well-Being via tactics and strategies to help leaders pause with purpose. This intentional process of learning how to check in with oneself is not only supportive for the individual, but will ultimately allow them to show up in the most supportive and effective way possible for the people in their organization.
Improve Team Well-Being by leveraging tools and practices to have honest team talks. Team environments and working groups are often high sources of stress and burnout. Effective collaboration requires honest conversations about what's working and what's not in order to create a healthy, well-rounded team that functions at its best.
Improve Organization Well-being through considerations and best practices to enhance one's organizational well-being strategy. Having a clear vision and avenues to listen to employee needs, ideas, and concerns helps leaders identify the factors affecting the environment. Finding one's unique solution is essential to create a healthy environment for every member of one's workplace.
