This foundation continues to guide her in her professional experiences.

As an educator at NYU STEP (Science and Technology Entry Program), Tyla worked with middle school and high school students to support their academic growth and confidence in core subjects such as mathematics and reading comprehension. As an administrator, she contributed to the larger goals of the program by supporting their organizational development and student engagement projects. She is passionate about creating environments that empower students through learning, and supporting organizations that drive meaningful community-centered change.

Currently, Tyla’s values guide her work at Cora Group, where she supports operations, project management, and communications. She is drawn to Cora Group’s focus on learning as a catalyst for organizational change, which aligns with her commitment to social sustainability.
