The Questioning Workshop
Mastering the Skill of Mindful Inquiry to Deepen Understanding
This course on the importance of asking mindful questions explores how intentional, well-framed inquiries can enhance communication, build trust, and foster deeper understanding in professional and personal interactions.
Participants will examine the impact of different types of questions, such as open-ended, clarifying, and reflective questions, on engagement, problem-solving, and relationship-building. The course emphasizes the role of curiosity, active listening, and emotional intelligence in formulating questions that encourage meaningful dialogue, reduce misunderstandings, and create space for diverse perspectives.
Through peer-to-peer learning and interactive discussions, participants will practice crafting and using mindful questions to navigate workplace conversations, resolve conflicts, and facilitate collaboration. They will also learn strategies for avoiding common pitfalls, such as leading or assumptive questions that can shut down dialogue.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the skills to ask thoughtful, purposeful questions that drive more productive conversations, strengthen professional relationships, and support a culture of open and effective communication.
